This page describes storage used by this version of the site. A cookie is sent to the server with matching requests; localStorage stays in your browser. The team does not use advertising or analytics trackers here.
Essential storage
mcg-storage-choice — localStorage record of your storage choice: permission flag, version and date. It is valid for 180 days and contains no visitor identifier. It is used to remember the choice itself, including a refusal.
sessionid, csrftoken — administrative session and CSRF protection cookies, used when accessing administration and its forms. They are not advertising cookies. Their expiry is set by the administration configuration; public portfolio pages do not require you to sign in.
Optional theme preference
mcg-theme — localStorage value dark or light. It is saved only if you choose “Remember theme”. Without that permission, the theme can still be changed for the current page. On a new visit, the site uses its default dark theme. Withdrawing permission removes the stored preference; an expired choice causes it to be cleared on the next load.
Change or withdraw your choice
Open Cookie settings in the footer and choose Essential only to stop saving the theme. Both choices allow access to the entire public portfolio. You can also clear this site's storage in your browser. If storage is blocked, the pages remain usable and the choice applies only to the current page.
No optional storage is written when JavaScript is disabled. External links lead to services governed by their own policies.
